The Savior

I saw a blue light streak through the sky.  I thought it was an asteroid.  It's lovely light-blue light pulsated, and a deep male voice spoke from behind it:  "You must ask this question.  Is this the Savior of the Jews?  Have you been saved?"  This morning, I turned on the news and learned a blue meteor streaked through the sky last evening, and I remembered this dream.

Look Into My Eyes

Joe knew Marie could read his emotions. She saw them in his eyes. She was distraught, frightened ... of him. "Look into my eyes" he told her, pointing to his eyes and leaning forward. She struggled to look at him, blinking. Marie calmed down. 

In Doing Time on Earth, Marie reads Joe like a book when she gazes into his beautiful blue eyes. 

The eyes give us away. Truth, Love and Compassion can be found there.

The Body of God

In the Gospel of Judas, Jesus Christ referred to his body as "the man who clothes me."  So, too our physical bodies are the garments of our mind.  This physical world is the garment of God, created by his Thought and our thought.

In the spirit world, the Light Heavens, the Love of God flows like a rainbow!  It is God's emotion, the body of his Love.  It is the only physical sensation that can be felt in the Light Heavens.  It is visible, and can be felt by the spirit body, called a Form by those in the Light World.  When it flows through one's Form, God's Love tastes like honey!

DOING TIME: Forgiveness

Look upon those who need forgiveness. What kind of thoughts do they inspire? If I could read your mind my dear friend I would say you were thinking how arrogant it is to assume one has the right to forgive anyone. You don't believe in God and you think no one has the right to speak for him. No one has the right to forgive. Mans' transgressions must forever speak against him. Man must forever wallow in his own sin. If man is not held accountable for his crimes, if he is not punished for them, there will be no deterrent.

For this reason most religions lack the basic concept of forgiveness. It is beyond most men's imagination, for forgiveness is truly divine. It took a man like Jesus Christ to introduce this concept to the masses. My good friend looked upon me in disbelief when I spoke to him of forgiveness and what it meant to people condemned to sin.

The day came my friend when you too needed forgiveness. And when in the spirit of Christ you were told you were innocent because you did not understand what you were doing, you learned the truth and the value of forgiveness. You too learned how to forgive because the example was set for you. Forgiveness does not demean one and raise up another. It is a witnessing of the Truth. Forgiveness is not to overlook another's sins but to look into their heart and soul and know there is innocence there. Forgiveness is done in the light and not in darkness. It is saying "I know you. I know you meant no harm, and you are innocent. I know you will never make this mistake again."

The Forgiven man is then fully redeemed. He's is free to go forth and sin no more. He is innocent and he still has his innocence to protect. He has every reason to live up to his better nature because he has learned from his mistake. Gratitude fills his heart for the forgiven man knows the Leap it took to see his innocence. He is aware he has been given a glimpse of the Divine. So too does the Forgiver know gratitude and relief for he has his friend. He is no longer a victim. He has seen and felt the light!

Anyone who can truly forgive in this manner, or who has experienced this unreserved forgiveness, has witnessed the Divinity in man. You have witnessed the face of Christ and you are forever elevated by it.

Forgiveness is our Christmas gift. If you cannot give it to your friend, neighbor, or loved one, then ask God to do it for you, for the greatest spirit, our Oneness, sees truly into every heart.

Seeing Red: Negative Karma

An eye for an eye and the whole world goes blind.  - Ghandi

Can anybody see what we're doing? Lawlessness just brings about more loss, destruction and lawlessness. Who will be the first to extend the hand of peace?

When we are inflamed with anger, we are blinded to peace. When the world hurts us, it is our emotional pain which causes us to literally "see red" on the inner plane. Any action we take in this state will be destructive.

This is the very serious negative karma caused by unfettered emotion. To control one's actions, one must control one's mind.  To control one's thoughts, one must understand how they are affected by emotion, which is only temporal. These are amongst the lessons we were sent here to learn on the earthly plane.

Destiny

Have you ever felt like you're in the wrong place? Nothing is right where you are at and you must leave? You move heaven and earth to leave that place and find that you took it with you. Problems cannot be resolved when you run from them. They live within you and your external circumstances display what is playing out inside your mind.

Real change comes when you have learned from your difficulties, when you no longer suffer, but find peace. Run away, and the lesson just repeats, for you cannot change the mind that creates your life circumstances unless you face it.

Within what seems like the world's greatest problem may be the key to your happiness, the path to your destiny.

Infinity

Time is curved. It is arced. 

Eventually it must curve in upon itself like a great circle, a circle of infinity. 

And so the past becomes the future, and eventually the now. So we live in the past present and future simultaneously.  

While time travels in but one direction, the mind has no such limit.  The mind can access anything to which it has been exposed, any place - any time.  

The collective consciousness has been exposed to all of recorded and known history.  It is therefore infinite, as is the nature of time itself.  

Our minds are part of this collective consciousness.  This vast ocean of consciousness is our birthright; it is the pool of all knowledge.

THE SPIRITUAL AWAKENING

There is a special condition, a form of memory loss that afflicts certain people.  These are people who go to sleep, and when they awake, they cannot remember what transpired the day before, or ever since their traumatic brain injury or psychological trauma.  Their brain does not store the memory at night, and the new memories cannot be accessed the next day. 

This has happened to all of us.  The big sleep, death, causes us to forget who we are and forget our memory of God.  We have forgotten that we are spirit.  We have reincarnated in the flesh and forgotten this.  We have lost our memories of the spirit world, of higher levels of consciousness, and of God.

With spiritual guidance, some of us are able to partially re-awaken, but the memories have only returned in part.  These souls do not fully realize themselves, but they are on the path to spiritual awakening and healing.  The truly awakened, and healed have full realization.  They can remember the spirit world, and higher levels of consciousness.  They are born awakened, or partially awakened, without prompting from the world of perception or spiritual training.  This was the state Jesus  had attained.  He was fully awakened to being the Christ.

A first-hand account of the after-life, in between incarnations!

The Man in the Black Suit

The Man in the Black Suit turned his face towards me.  His eyes were large and black.  His skin was translucent, like the rest of our Forms.  His hair was jet black and neatly coiffed.  He held his hands behind his back.  His expression was usually kind, but firm.  His demeanor was always patient.

I looked up at him and asked him if he knew of any way that would help me focus during my meditation.  Sensing I was not done, he waited as I explained. "Look at me, in this ... body." I looked down at myself for the first time with some disgust at my ultra light body.  "I cannot focus with the same intensity in this body." I wasn't sure if he would understand, but he appeared to.

The Man in the Black Suit told me that I should try finding the Love. 

I was confused, "The Love?"

"Yes.  Go find the Love.  It is in the same area where you teleport. You did not explore that area fully," he said with almost a smile in his eyes. Perhaps he was just too much of an authority figure to question any further, but I wasn't about to ask him anything else.

Relativity and Consciousness

Our consciousness, yours and mine, are One.  What differentiates them, what makes me separate from you, is only our perspectives.  There is only one Perspective that is Whole and thus True, that is the Perspective of the Mind of God.  God is One.  That is all there is.

Ego Interference

The Ego blocks the joining of minds, interferes with the connection! It is the "I" (self) awareness that causes one to look away from others. Paradoxically, when we look "in" with the inner eye, we see others via the continuum of consciousness, the Mind. When we look "out" with the body's eyes, we see the world of perception, a projection of consciousness.

The Continuum of Consciousness

Animals have minds. They think. They are on the road with us, this journey of consciousness.

They feel even Love, their young, their mates, and sometimes they love us humans. They have feelings, anger, fear, joy.

Consciousness is a continuum. Our consciousness as humans is further along the scale. Our primitive brothers are scattered along the continuum, for the most part below human beings. Advanced brethren, the avatars, ascended masters, our "elder brothers" place at the known extremes of the scales of consciousness.

Plants are somewhere well down the scale of consciousness, not even self-conscious, but conscious. These distinctions between plant, animal, human, divine are not so much cliffs as they are degrees of Mind. Even inanimate matter buzzes on the atomic level with life, the life shared by each of us in the Universal Consciousness, the Mind of God.

Time Machine

Do you keep a journal?  

I write in one, in fits and starts. Sometimes I read it, and wonder 'What will change' before I write here again.

My journal is like a time machine. I go back in time and I realize where my mind and circumstances were at, and how much changed in such a short time. It makes me wonder about the future, and what I can and cannot foresee.

Last night I updated my journal for 2014. Yes, it's been that long! I wrote about my husband's accident, his broken arm last summer. I published three books this year. The most wonderful thing of all is the fact that I now have a "new" brother in my life. When my father remarried, he had moved away and I never met his new family. Now I am getting a chance to know another brother. And he's a really nice person!

It was an unexpected gift when he got in touch. It's amazing what changes can happen in life that we just don't foresee. I never thought I would get another chance to speak to my brother, and now we may actually get to meet!

Some things I can foresee, but I don't even realize what the fates have in store. Just a few weeks ago, I dreamt of going on a job interview. I saw the first letter of the company name and logo. I saw the building's reception area, and knew they were located on the top floor. Two days ago, it all happened, exactly as I had dreamt. I realized the dream was not so much symbolic as I had thought, but instead it was prophetic. It reassures me that there really is a plan for my life. Sometimes we just have to wait for it to unfold, in due time.

Circles of Consciousness

Your vibration ...

affects those around you, your thoughts, mood these are all part of your circle of consciousness. The highest vibration in a group uplifts those about him. 

This is the effect of a guru or sensei. The sensei raises his vibration through prayer and meditation. This is then shared with the group. 

Jesus ...

referred to this effect when he was touched in a crowd and remarked that he felt "the virtue go out" of him. 

In my book DOING TIME on Earth: Unmasking the Hidden Mind Directing our Lives, Marie prays for her father's recovery and then upon touching him feels the vibration pass through her hand. Her father sat up from his hospital bed as though shocked. It was enough to send him home with an 18 month remission from terminal cancer. 

This is what Christ promised when he said we could do miracles. 

With love and faith we are each other's healers.

The Collective Consciousness

We exist in the Mind of God, a vast collective consciousness, and we are all part of it.

As we expand consciousness, we begin to regain our ability to see the outer Mind, the consciousness of those around us.  We may begin to feel others' emotions, an empathic connection.  We may begin to see others' thoughts, their mental bodies, which we will begin to perceive as our outer mind.  That is our natural state in the collective consciousness.

Truth Grows When Shared

Both Love and Ideas grow when shared. Both of these are pure concepts that only increase when given freely. They are universal Truths.  Their Truth defies the concept of lack.  They do not diminish when given away.   Can you name something that grows when shared?

Marie could see that was the wrong answer.  She was trying not to cry.  She wrung her hands.

"I ... never lied to you ... about anything." 

"I know" he said quietly.

The door abruptly shut and she heard a wounded Sean speak from behind it.  "I … just can't get involved in this."  His voice sounded like he was nearly in tears.  It cut her heart out to hear the pain she had caused him.

Marie realized it was over between her and Sean.  She turned to go home, and then became aware of a force streaming through the closed door.  It came straight for her.  She could hear it; it sounded like hundreds of tiny bells.  She saw it, like white lines flowing in a wave pattern.  The huge wave of anger hit Marie and pushed her sideways.  It felt as though the door had hit her.  It hadn't.  She feared she would be knocked into the wall and threw her arms up defensively.  The anger felt like dozens of knives slicing through her body.  When it was over, she was smarting in pain.  Somehow, she was still standing.  Marie knew she was devastated, and she could feel the physical pain of the phantom knife attack, but she had no idea how badly her mind had been damaged from this attack.

Marie realized she had been utterly unprepared for this encounter.  She had blown it again, and for all time.  She felt a fool, and looked briefly at Sean's door, trying not to give in to tears and wondering if he saw her through the peep hole.  Marie realized she could not afford to show any emotion, lest Sean react again to her.  She knew another wave of his emotion could kill her.  She straightened herself, turned, and walked to her apartment, quietly closing the door behind her.

Mahatma Gandhi said, "An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind." 
As we practice our culture of violence it is ironic to note how blind we have become to this truth.
Yet we understand when we hear "what goes around comes around" or "as you sow so shall you reap." Does not the Bible also say vengeance belongs to the Lord?

So instead of an eye for an eye, it is better to remember the words of Christ: "Do unto to others as you would have them do unto you."
