Valentine's Day for those missing a loved one, maybe a lost friend or spouse, or part of one's family, or a cherished pet, this is a day where we feel isolated. There is a sadness in our hearts where there was once joy.
Others celebrate love, and the person grieving their loss can only watch. This is a hard day for many people.
Take time to show everyone you love ❤️ that you are part of their life today. A little love goes a long way. Your children, your parents, your siblings and your lover, all of these should be told especially today that you love them.
Sometimes, life tears people apart in unexpected ways. Never miss an opportunity to tell them you love them.

Next Time You Don't Vote
I'm going to commit a faux pas. Here goes... Our new face of education looks disturbingly like a simpleton.
Is it that bad? Before you judge, WWTS, What Would Trump Say?
Remember Carly Fiorina? 'Can you imagine that, the face of our next president?!'
But they go low, we go high, right? More than the face, I worry about the mouth. The insult-spewing mouth, can you imagine letting that mouth speak for us? The dim-witted face, dark words, unveiled anger, utter incompetence, this is the collective face of our new leadership.
Water seeks its own level, so the electorate chose one of their own, and he chooses his own. The people too good to vote let this happen.

Dark Light
Only light casts away darkness.
Yet, there is another force which survives on light, but it is not light. It is the black hole of consciousness, the dark light.
There are people who throw shade, people who get angry, people who are negative. There are even some people so overwhelmed with these attributes that they have become malignant personalities.
They survive on negative encounters. But the problem is, You don't.
The battle draws your energy and weakens you. The dark light devours you. The malignant personality, sometimes called an energy vampire, gets stronger from the fight. Have you ever noticed that? Do you know someone like this? Do you realize they are feeding on you?
The malignant personality survives by baiting you, and there is only one defense: do not engage.
This is the principle of defenselessness. The dark light will consume itself if you do not feed it.
Christ himself exhibited this principle when he refused to defend himself against his accusers. He also knew that he would rise above his circumstances. Sometimes the way to win is not to fight.
A cancer survives on the blood of its host. If the body dies, so does the cancer. That is why we cut it out when possible, and with the malignant personality the treatment is the same.
You don't have to be their victim. You don't have to host their insatiable lust for battle.
You can't save them. You cannot reach them, for it is against the law of God to interfere with another mind. Save yourself then. Don't let the darkness consume you.

Your Word
Imagine the world of words as a river pouring into a great sea of thought.
When you drink from the river, is it polluted -with hate? Will it make you sick?
Is your river clean and unpoisoned? Will the words you read and hear strengthen you?
How can you tell the difference?
Hateful language only spreads hate. One does not need a great mind nor a great education to get this.
When you ingest hate, you spew it out back into the river. People who hold standards of decorum, behavior, civility, they will begin to avoid you. Your social circle will be those who are like you, obnoxious and poisoned with hate.
Over time, the effects of anger, hate and negativity will create your own darkness, your own black world. No one will be able to love you when you hate them. You will have created a cesspool of ugliness.
Too much hate has fractured our people, and impoverished our thinking. The people who think they are being clever when they attack and insult others are actually obtuse, too dense to see that the river they pollute is their own.
So draw away from them and leave them in their own slime. They will choke off from their own filth, and any light you offer them will only prolong the agony, theirs and yours.
You are responsible for your own words, and your own thoughts. You fill your own river.

Super Bowl
Here's my take on the 84Lumber ad:

At first I disliked the contractor who built the wall. Then, I saw he put the huge doors, and I thought he bucked the system. I was impressed.
The ad's intent was not what I thought. It was a reminder that the US has legal avenues for immigration and a reminder that the US is a land of great hope and opportunity, a land where immigrants are welcomed.
The lady who paid for this ad is very confused, because she supports a President who has shut the door on legal immigrants with visas and passports, people who came here some for a better life, some for medical treatment, some to join family, but all legal.
She is a confused lady. That is the best I can say about her, she means well, but like the other Trump supporters, she lives in an alternate world a false reality, one which denies the existence of others' pain. Her world idealizes American values, but fails to live up to its promise.
Advertising is meant to increase profit/sales/market share, but this confused lady spent a fortune to deliver a message she did not understand. Her business acumen is no better than her politics.
Our President was born with a fortune, and has managed to grossly underperform the market. His net worth is less than half of what it should be, yet he believes he is very smart, successful. If he were born to poor Mexican immigrants, he would fit the image he paints of a sexual predator. His arrogance would be seen for what it is, stupidity and ignorance. His racism would be quite ugly if he were a brown man calling white America gringos. He would be seen for what he is, not a role model for anyone, but an ignorant, negative, hostile, judgmental, sexual deviant.
Here's the best I can make of our unfortunate choice of President: His divisiveness has forced us to take sides. Those of us who have chosen to stand up for real American values, have marched for liberty and shown compassion for legal immigrants and respected the civil rights of Americans who may not be like us, those of different creeds, sexual preference, gender, race, religion, those are the true Americans. Sometimes life gives us an unexpected opportunity to stand up and be great. That Mr. President, is the definition of greatness. It was written in the American constitution this whole time. You sir would do well to take a moment to read it.

Christianity vs Politics
According to so-called Fake News CNN, 57% of "white evangelical protestants" believe God played a major role in the election of America's new President.
Our new President has undermined the free press, the judiciary, and his political peers and opponents.
He has surrounded himself with ideologically dangerous people who, like himself, have no experience with the government institutions they are supposed to lead. He has set the stage for the malfunction of the EPA, department of education, and US military by undermining and replacing their qualified leadership with ideologically opposed and incompetent state heads.
This is not an accident. At best he is trying to create tension and provoke change, at worst he is laying the groundwork for instability, and incompetence in these essential institutions of American government.
Did God do this to America because of its religious freedoms, was it because of the laws embracing equality for LGBT, women, and minorities? Is America a land of opportunity and equality, a land built by immigrants, or is it a fearful, hate based nation, distrusting our neighbors abroad as well as next door? Did God do this because of our liberal laws or was it because of our hate?
If God really did this, then God must have decided to destroy America, beginning with its foundations of justice, freedom and liberty. The division of America is the first step to its downfall. We no longer accept or even tolerate each other. There is a cancer on the Presidency, to borrow a phrase. Like Watergate, I hope and pray the press and every other institution in this country does its job to rid us of this evil man, and incompetent administration.
I personally believe in a higher consciousness and a higher mind, which is all-knowing. It exists as a continuum, in increasingly enlightened layers of consciousness. I have encountered some of these layers and interacted with the higher Mind, and my higher Mind has its own higher Mind. The layers may be infinite for all I know. But Christ, who was certainly more highly conscious than I, referred to a Most High. That would be "God." To be One, which is the goal of all layers of consciousness, is to defer to the higher Mind.
I do know that the proximity of evolved consciousness raises the vibration and consciousness of its surroundings, which is its sphere of influence. [Read The Circle of Infinity] The plummeting of American ideals and fall from grace is the result of a vacuum of enlightened leadership. We collectively have fallen from grace here in America. Our language has become rough, our national dialogue has become hateful, our ideology is become base and derogatory. We are no longer an inspiration to the world. We are a source of fear and derision.
This is the pattern of order and disorder, or chaos. We are going to struggle with this for a while. It may destroy our country, or even our world, for it is a worldwide sickening. Out of disorder a new world order may emerge. You and I must do our part to bring light to those whose minds have been shrouded in darkness, false news. These are the false prophets.

The Unbelievers
What does Christ mean when he says that you were not there when he needed help, and he does not know you.
Obviously, he said the way we treat the least among us is the way we treat him.
Obviously, he means we are all one.
He is the face of every man.
Who hasn't failed at some point in showing mercy, compassion?
We are all unworthy then, by the standards of perfection.
We all make mistakes.
Forgiveness covers mistakes, when we know not what we are doing.
Willful disobedience is not the same.
When you know you are wrong and you won't show mercy or compassion, you have turned your back on Christ.
You have chosen the world over your brother.
When you look to him for compassion, you will be looking into a mirror, and you will find none.
We are all one. We are all nothing without the other.
It is your own cold eye you will stare into in the end.
