Witches and Cats

A hag, crone or witch originally meant an elder, wizened woman. The witches were respected for their wisdom and maturity.

Their religion predates Christianity, and is based on harmonic existence with nature.

The (modern) Wiccan religion is not what I speak of next.

The CAT has seized the modern-day negative image of the witch.

In its name, these CATS do much harm.

Their magic is insidious and they hide in the orthodox folds of the church.

Their victims are unsuspecting children and parents.

They are raised with this evil and then abandoned.

The angry children then lash out at the world.

There are Cats and there are CATS.

A Familiar is a Witch's Cat.

Here are the two definitions of the word, when used as a noun:

1. a demon supposedly attending and obeying a witch, often said to assume the form of an animal.

2. (in the Roman Catholic Church) a person rendering certain services in a pope's or bishop's household.

Cats are symbols of awakening, of enhanced perception and increasing psychic sensitivity.

Its not always easy to tell the good Cats, or be one.
