The Stages of Beauty

You are not getting older, you are transcending stages of beauty.

The Japanese concept of Yūgen encompasses an appreciation of the depths of the universe. Beauty is understood as ever-changing as it progresses from the nascent "wabi" or budding stage, into full bloom, actually seen as more one dimensional since the sharp lines of temporal perfection show no hint of past nor future. Ultimately, the aging process culminates in "sabi" the ripening of the fruit.

The Yūgen is more apparent to the trained observer when in the wabi-sabi stages.

It is then the depth of life is felt, when the transitions add to the charms and more than one dimension of life can be seen.

The Do Over

I once tried to completely forget someone.

Mistakes cannot be erased.

I went on as though he never existed.

We must learn from them so we do not repeat them.

Many years later, I remembered.

I finally realized what I was trying to forget was my mistake in handling our relationship.

This was the lightbulb moment. The Aha!

I finally understood I wasn't running from him.

I ran away from all the pain that I had caused because I couldn't live with all that regret, all that guilt.

I then realized, you can't erase the mistake until you solve the problem.

Once we learn how to solve the problem, we can move on.

Now that I am ready to face my mistake, I am ready

For a Do Over.

I let many years pass before I learned this one lesson.

It seems like a huge waste.

That is the larger lesson.

Reincarnation, the school for unwilling students.

We start with a clean sheet and make mistakes that we still haven't learned from.

One day, we will move on.

Manifesting Desire

The formula for manifesting desire is a two-part process.

Part 1 is effected behind the veil, in the inner world of consciousness.

Part 2 is effected in the causal world.

Your desires may exist in the world of dreams, but they must be brought forth into the world of cause and effect. Your desires must be given form.

One of the most practical and effective ways of doing this is to make a list!

What are your most Ardent Desires? Maybe these are things you keep locked up in your heart and you don't tell anyone.

Please Write today's date and Write this down:

What I most desire (that I don't already have):

Keep your list somewhere where you know it will be safe, so you can be honest with yourself. Write down the truth.

Next write this:

What I have now that I value most:

When you are done, look at that list and realize what an abundant life you already have. This should make you feel positive about your desires.

Now, write down your Self-Assessment:

What direction am I currently headed (in):

For example, I wrote that I am getting better every day in every way. How about you? Are you headed in a positive direction?

Finally, write down:

What can I do to help myself:

You might surprise yourself what you think of here.  I did!

Now, read it all over and keep it somewhere safe. One day you will look at it again and you will begin to check off those items.

You have just given birth to the Word!

Detachment

The benefit of practicing detachment is finding the real Self.

Many novice attempts focus on recognizing that one's environs are not Self.

More advanced practitioners recognize that they are not just their bodies.

In fact, the outside world is your larger body.

The next step is to recognize that your Self is something distinct from your thoughts.

If you are ready to practice this, do it by observing your thoughts.

Recognize that You are something apart from these thoughts.

As such, You can and must develop mastery over them.

You must learn to direct, focus and cease them at will.

Just as the body is at constant struggle for control with its environment, the brain struggles to control the physical and emotional bodies, while simultaneously providing for their needs. Your Self also must awaken. Your Mind must learn to control your thoughts and thus You will have mastered you.

Understanding Jesus

The very devout Sleeping Prophet:

This is the first lesson ye should learn: There is so much good in the worst of us, and so much bad in the best of us, it doesn't behoove any of us to speak evil [of] the rest of us. This is a universal law, and until one begins to make application of same, one may not go very far in spiritual or soul development. #EdgarCayce reading 3063-1 (bit.ly/1XzM38A)

And he's right. We are imperfect and must understand that no one is all bad and none of us is capable of good all the time. We are flawed.

Yet Jesus forgave everyone. All those who hurt him, crucified and whipped him. Jesus forgave them all.

But understand this, Jesus was no fool. His mercy detached him from them, and released him from the effects of their actions. This is how he overcame and rose above death.

Now:  What did Jesus do next, when he overcame his horrible ordeal, and who did he see?

The bible tells us He went to be with people who loved him. He did not go back to those who would do him harm did he?

The bible tells us Jesus left town with his friends as any wise man would. He turned the other cheek, but he was no fool.

Think of this next time you are dealing with evil. Forgive, but do not forget.

Just move on.

Evil is its own reward. It will return upon the sender. That is the law of Karma. Do not partake in it. Rise above the battlefield.

The Twin Souls

As within each woman dwells the masculine Animus, so within the heart of man dwells his inner goddess the Anima.

She can be soulful, spiritual, or vengeful.

The Anima or Animus can be highly destructive when anger is released. For this reason anger is karmic. Simply to vent it unleashes the force behind the spiritual veil. It must be controlled and subdued.

The evolved persona never releases anger without redefining his or her feelings, recognizing that nothing is worth harmful desires, thoughts or actions.

To release the Word, releases the anger. The Word of the evolved persona is empowered.  He or she thus becomes responsible for the Word and its effects.

The inner and outer self and Self begin as projections of opposites. They evolve to sameness. In the Light World the evolved male and female twin souls become androgynous and inseparable.

Animus

He is the hidden spirit within every woman.

If she is true to her inner Self, He is benevolent.

An angry, frustrated woman manifests a malevolent Animus.

He is a psychic force and he wields terrible power behind the veil of consciousness.

If she has mastered the power of words, an angry woman can release her emotion, her Animus, and He will wield destruction upon the object of her enmity.

She will be unaware of the path of her destruction.

If she is evolved, her Animus will function benevolently, as a Collective.

If her psyche is harmed, they will strike to defend their projection. She is their manifestation in the world. They each function as a projection of the other.

The closer to enlightenment she becomes, the less distinct they are from one another.

In the end, they are indistinguishable.

The Man in the Mirror

Time for Change.

I am Real.

Everything that changes is not.

Time is Change.

Everything I see is a reflection of me.

My perception of myself changes.

My world changes.

I am real.

I am.

It's all just a house of mirrors.

Each mirror makes me appear different.

I am the same.

That is Perception.

To change my world, change myself, change the mirror.

What do you see.

Conjuring

Adorned in his finest purple robes, the Magic Man stood center in the great ballroom. Many had gathered for the second Contest. This would be his finest hour. Prometheus would display his Magic for all to see.

Joseph was also there. He waited for Prometheus to announce the terms.

"Tonight we shall see who possesses the greatest Magick!"

Prometheus proclaimed "We shall have a Conjuring Contest."

The King did not answer.

Prometheus continued "Let me begin."

The Magic Man took in a deep breath and stretched his hands forth. Green and yellow light streaked between his fingers and in the palm of his hand he revealed a large green Emerald. He held it up for all to see.

"Aaaah!" The people marveled at his work, many wishing they had the same talent.

The Emerald was sparkling and quite impressive, about the size of a man's fist, if not his ego.

His eyes sparkling, the Magician now spoke again.

"What will you conjure?  Can you beat my jewel?"

The King stayed silent.

"Have you no Magick?"

"Conjuring?" The King finally spoke.

"Where I come from, we call it Creating."

"Conjuring is only temporary. It cannot last."

Prometheus' lips stretched to a thin smile.

"You are unable to do Magick? Can you not conjure something precious, more precious than my gem?" He pointed to the Emerald which was now placed on a silver platter held by the obedient Bartholomew.

"Anthony" uttered the King.

As the Word shot forth from his mouth, a little boy broke from his mother's arms. Anthony ran to the King, looking up with his shining, trusting face. The powerful King spoke gently to the little boy.

"Anthony, what is precious?"

"Mama!" the box exclaimed. He ran back to his mother.

"THIS is precious?"

Prometheus challenged the King. "What is precious?"

"Love." Joseph replied.

"I demand to see Magic!"

The King looked at the boy, Anthony, seated in his mother's arms. He smiled.

Warily, Prometheus followed the King's gaze.

The Love had begun to flow from their hearts. Red and white, the rainbow flowed and enveloped the room. As it touched the crowd, their hearts opened and more Love flowed!

Prometheus was unimpressed.

"Can Love buy anything? Is it more precious than my Emerald?"

"What is more precious than the sun?" Replied the King. "Yet it too shall fade from the sky one day."

"Love is unending. It is true."

"Anthony ... Precious...." Muttered the Magic Man, as he realized he had been bested.

"The next Time, we shall see."

He stamped his foot and disappeared in a puff of purple smoke.

The night was far from over.

The First Trumpet

The first Contest would be held outside the castle walls, in the courtyard.

Torches blazed and the full moon provided a shimmering light which danced upon the two knights.

The townspeople had gathered and the Magic Man had seated himself in a balcony to watch.

The white stallion and his rider's armor of silver gleamed in the moonlight. They faced off against the dark knight, representing the Magician.

As the horses pawed the ground, the Knights readied their lances.

Now charging toward one another, the King pointed his lance and it was all over in an instant as the dark knight landed with a thud on the hardened ground.

He lay there, quite still, as the crowd hushed.

Now dismounted, the King removed his gloves and helmet. He knelt down before the stricken dark knight. He removed the man's helmet to the sound of shocked gasps from the crowd. It was empty!  Only darkness could be seen inside the man's armor.

"You're alright. You just had the breath knocked out of you."  The King looked kindly upon the fellow that only he could see. He touched his cheek, and the color returned to the man's face. The ladies fainted, some others shrieked, as Bartholomew slowly became visible.

Breathing in deeply, Bartholomew took off his gloves of mail and looked in disbelief at the color of his own skin. The King helped him stand as he was still trembling.

"I have faced your challenge."

The King spoke again, this time to the townspeople.

"I am Joseph.  Your lands are returned to you. You are free."

"You have failed." A red faced Prometheus bellowed down from the castle.

"You are no further use to me."  With an angry gesture, he jabbed his finger at the servant. Yellow streaks shot forth towards the hapless Bartholomew. Yet he stood, unharmed, still looking down in awe at his own hands.

"You have played well this round."  Prometheus vanished in a pique of green smoke. Yellow dust filtered the air where he had stood.

Joseph smiled as his wife's kisses adorned his face. She had bolted from the stands and thrown her arms around his neck.

Smiles were all around, as Bartholomew returned home to tend to his Master.

Joseph and his wife led the horses to the stables.

All was peaceful but there would be no time for rest.

The trumpets blared. It was the second horn.

The Stuff We're Made Of

Air may appear ubiquitous, but try leaving the earth. You'll find it a scarce commodity.

Telemetry is ubiquitous when you consider all things are connected and thus communicate.

Consciousness is a continuum.

There are lines of thought which are not just the medium of communication, but the very substance of our existence.

These Thoughts are primal. They are True and fixed.

They are the hard-coded backdrop to our existence.

Imagine the Thoughts flowing, all aligned neatly and vertical, endlessly.

There are Other thoughts. Yours and mine. These flow in waves, and generally along a horizontal plane.

Now imagine the perfect Thoughts running vertically and what happens to the pattern when your temporal, ever-changing thoughts are superimposed. Your thoughts cut across the Thoughts; they create line segments. Broken lines, segments of thought. This is Time.

Our temporal reality, the world of relativity, is the effect of massive thought patterns, criss-crossing the pristine backdrop of eternity.

To help you see this, think of the Eternal Thoughts that don't change like the hardware of a computer. The temporal thoughts have two classes, the software programs, and the user data, formulas and input.

When things are working properly with our computer, we save our work. When things don't go well, we start over or sometimes reboot. This is analogous to reincarnation, as well as social memes which drive the culture.

Understanding the truth about time, what it means when we say it is relative or not constant, comes to this: Time is an effect of change. The conscious universe reacts on a quantum level to mind. This creates change, time and space. The thoughts creating change are not permanent, thus their effects are temporal.

This is the key to understanding Time and Space.

Masters of the realm of Cause & Effect are Masters of Time.

He who masters the mind, masters time.

This is why Time stands in discrete blocks, which stand alone, or are connected, depending entirely on the way you think about it.

This explains the Collective's statement: Life is Endless. Consciousness is a Continuum.

You can't see through the dense fog of our maze of thought, until your mind is strong enough to discern the Eternal Truths from the temporary impulses.

When you can tell the Truth...

The Truth will acknowledge You!

The Night of the Joust

The steed stood alone in the darkness. Glimmering white in the moonlight, he could be seen by a lone pair of pale green eyes. Unseen hands led the stallion along the dark valley to the castle gate.

Now fed and watered, the magnificent stallion was housed for the night in the master's stables. He had been brought here from afar in secret, to play his part in the games.

He was meant for one rider, the Challenger.

Alone in his room, one man waited, knowing his was a key role in tonight's activities.

He was calm.

At the appointed hour, he strode to the door as the clock struck midnight.

First there would be a feast. Many had gathered at the table, and his wife was already there. He would not join her.

As the Challenger, he would join the host. Only one would survive the night.

The dark magic in the air had been palpable. Wicked storms brewed and cursed the island.

In the midst of the onslaught a ship arrived at port, and the precious mount was brought to shore.

He would fulfill the prophecy tonight.

The King and the Master arrived at precisely the same moment.  Dread filled the room.

A trumpet sounded. It was the first horn.

In his stable, the white stallion stamped his hooves and waited.  The steed snorted and his steamy breath caught the air.  He would not rest tonight.  He was born for this purpose and he knew it.

The King locked his eyes upon the Magician.

With a flourish of his cape, green smoke filled the air and yellow light burst forth from the hands of the Magic Man.

The commoners shrieked!

Pleased with his entrance, the Master took his seat at the throne, a devilish smile upon his lips.

Bartholomew

The eyes of the servant were pale green. His skin was pallid, cheek bones high and eye lids were most delicate, almost like a woman's.

He was sent here to run interference, he knew. The box still in his hands, he returned to his master's chambers.

Bartholomew had one purpose in the world. He lived to serve.

Quietly he opened the bedroom door and placed the box upon the table. His master slept soundly.

The regalia of the night's festivities had not disturbed him.

Bartholomew crept out of the room, while Prometheus slept, his lips curled into a thin smile.

Prometheus had stolen treasures, fire and thunder and now was after the main prize. He licked his lips and dreamt of victory.

Outside the door, Bartholomew disappeared once more.

The Magic Man

He watched from the shadows of his castle. The townspeople played the sport upon the green pitch, gaily kicking the ball. They tired and broke for lunch and, disappointed, he walked away. Suddenly he turned and, fearing he would miss the rest of the game, he pointed to the ground and conjured a miniature replica of the players. Staring now at the ground as the tiny players resumed their game, unaware they had been tricked, he smiled to himself and let out a little laugh. They dissolved as he walked away.

He was drunk with power, and returned home to sleep it off. In his bedroom, he called for his box. He had conjured a servant. The box came to him, set before him by invisible hands. He smiled as he rummaged through the contents of the wooden box. The deceased had owned several small mirrors, the largest the size of a wallet photo. He found three diamonds in the cluttered box, and greedily pondered their meaning. The largest for the father, then the son, but for whom was the smallest?

The competitor! The grandson.

Closing the box, he found himself too tired to go to bed. He willed the servant carry him, and he was lifted up beneath the arms and brought to bed.

Put my box on the night stand he commanded silently. The box traveled to the edge of the table. Angrily he had it removed again. Do it right this time! The box was placed center to the table.

He slept and the servant departed.

The door opened to the guest's stateroom. A tall, blond, blue eyed man in his early 30's stood up and greeted the servant. Visible now, the servant entered the room. He was equally tall, broad shouldered and dark haired. The servant tried to hide his fear when he saw the guest. The man was dressed in royal medieval garb. He had the visage of the King!

"Please...take it off" he pleaded weakly.

"It's a bit much I know."  The guest thought, the party is in an hour, at midnight. I won't have time to get another costume.

"Thank you for bringing me this box."  He selected the smallest stone and fastened it to his velvet lapel. He gave the box to the servant.

Outside, a storm was brewing on the island. The townspeople were already furiously partying as violent winds whipped in from the sea. The ground shook and raucous laughter could be heard in the darkness.

The guest's wife, also adorned in queenly regalia, spoke to her husband. Static electricity cracked as she spoke. "What if we lose power!" She was alarmed. Her words were lost on the men.  As though she was not even there, her husband never broke eye contact with the servant. He addressed the servant again.

"It's too late to change."

She repeated her fear, and again her words were drowned out by the night and the crackle of static electricity.

"Goodnight" said the King and the servant departed.

The Eyes of a Cat

Animals can often see behind the curtain of consciousness.

Their conscious minds are not so developed as man.

Their minds are less diluted with advanced thought.

They simply see.

Cats are the most sublime of these creatures.

The Cat sees both worlds.

The Cats Eye is a stone which is opaque and unfiltered on opposite sides.

Switch the sides (turn the stone around) and the sides change properties.

It all depends on perception and light!

The Cat is our familiar, a divining rod in this world.

All consciousness is connected.

A Cat will help you see what lies beyond.

The I AM Power

When bad things happen, do you just adjust for it?

That misfortune. Did you just compensate for it some other way?

Did you say 'It's ok.  I'll do this or use that instead?'

Don't let it change You.

It's like all that is real. It happened and only you aren't real. You change.

Truth never changes. It is always True.

When Jesus spoke 'I Am' the power in his words struck down the soldiers.

When God spoke to Moses, he identified himself as 'I Am that I Am.'

God and Jesus both affirmed their truth.

I Am Real.

I Am.

When you acknowledge anything, you make it real, to you.

Acknowledge Yourself.

When you say 'I Am Real' you call out all the power of the universe to acknowledge you.

Say it and open yourself to truth.

A spark of God created you and you created this image of you.

The life in it fades.

Your image of you awaits the spark of life.

I Am.

I Am Real.

Acknowledge your reality and the mind of God will recognize you.

God is Truth.

God cannot dwell in illusions.

Call the spark home to the Truth.

Make the temporal universe, the world of relativity and cause & effect change, for you.

I have a message for you:

The Circle of Infinity
